Enjoy a healthy, balanced life and abundant musical success.

Become the powerful artist you are meant to be!

January 23, 2021

The musicians I talk to never feel like they have enough time – even during the pandemic, with fewer performances, lessons, and time spent in the car.

Just today, I heard from a musician whose kids are home all day, and when he finally has time to practice, he’s exhausted. Can you relate?

Maybe you try to find more time by moving quickly through your day. ? You multitask, skip breaks, consolidate shopping trips, use productivity apps… but the day is over before you know it and you barely have time to rest.

When you finally DO have time with your instrument, it’s hard to let go and relax, because your mind is scattered and on self-critical overdrive… or you’re exhausted. ?

Why is it so hard to get control over time?!?

When you’re tackling one task after another like a game of pop-up moles at a carnival, you’ll always feel strapped for time because the amount of work you have will always expand to fill the time available. A to-do list NEVER really ends – because the nature of life itself is constant flux and endless activity.

But that’s not the REAL problem…

The real problem is how you approach the myriad things you do every day, thinking of them as unique and separate activities without a common, unifying factor.
Here’s a secret I share with all of my students:

? There is only ONE THING that you REALLY need to practice and attend to throughout your day, which is your “Primary Instrument”. That instrument is YOU – your whole mind/body/self. ?

When you make your Primary Instrument your top priority – prioritizing how you think, feel, and move through your various activities – you’ll find that you automatically get better at everything you do, and the amount of time you spend doing things becomes less critical.

You’ll even need less time to practice your musical instrument, because your coordination will be improving, you’ll be focusing better, and your music will start flowing by itself.

? In other words… the ONLY truly important thing – more important than anything else on earth – is how to be fully present to whatever you’re doing throughout the day. That’s when everything starts to fall into place with ease and grace. ?

You’ll be able to…

  • Prioritize and say ‘no’ to things that aren’t necessary
  • Get more done in less time, with less effort
  • Enjoy more energy, learn faster, and save time and energy in the practice room,
  • Let go of your need to control time… trust… and relax as you work and make music.

Bringing your whole self to everything you do (playing your “Primary Instrument”) is a lot easier than it sounds. In fact, my coaching clients learn exactly how to do this from Day 1, because I give them a clear, step-by-step process with my Art of Freedom® Method for conscious living and masterful artistry.

? The Musician’s Advantage™ coaching program is for professional musicians who are serious about making major improvements in their lives and musical skills, in LESS time, with LESS effort.

It’s for artists who want to go from never having enough time to having a beautifully easy, creative, and powerfully effective relationship with time. ⌛️

The first thing I do with my clients in their VIP Strategy Session is clarify your purpose and goals, and what you want to accomplish in your life. Then, we create a plan to get you there.

You’ll learn the principles of The Art of Freedom® Method and how to integrate your mind, body, and creative spirit for great music-making using simple Awareness Etudes, as taught in my introductory self-study course. ?

You’ll have twelve coaching sessions over six months to develop your ability to be fully present in activity, especially while making music, and you’ll make notable progress in your artistry without all the stress and overwhelm.
