Do you get tense when you play passionately emotional music? Musicians usually do!
In this video, I ask you to notice what’s going on in your body when you think about a topic that makes you sad, and I explain how getting SUCKED into the emotions in a piece of music DOESN’T WORK.
We make music to connect with others on the deepest level, to share our common experience of humanity, including all possible emotions and experiences.
If you’re attached to the emotions, they get blocked inside your body, and you may FEEL like you’re being expressive – and it can LOOK LIKE you’re being expressive – but you’re actually not allowing deep Creative Energy FLOW to happen, so the emotions will be only partially expressed.
Watch the video and let me know what you think!
With Love,
Jennifer
