I got really, really angry last night.

FIERCELY ANGRY.

POWERFULLY ANGRY.

….And then I shifted that energy, channeled it constructively, and became hopeful, energized, and yes, HAPPY.

Because I feel with conviction in every fiber of my being that there is a Force for good that is infinitely stronger than anything else in existence, and it resides in every cell of every human being.

Our human potential for Love, creativity, and positive action is limitless. Sadly, it often lies dormant and unrecognized.

Our challenge as humans, artists, and teachers is to become conscious of this inner Light and learn how to tap into it and let it shine.

This is a skill and it’s much more powerful than the people stuck in heavy darkness or anything evil that they try to do.

No matter what it feels like or looks like right now, inside and outside.

I firmly believe that an artist‘s highest role is to connect with that fiercely strong inner resource and bring it out in a way that others can easily receive, if they’re willing and open to it.

There’s nothing like music to be able to do that, because it transcends words, politics, religions, and every other way that we limit and divide and separate ourselves from one another.

So my question to you as a musician is… Do you know how to do this effectively?

Do you know how to overcome your own limitations, break through physical and psychological obstacles, and expose your love and light fearlessly so that it can touch the hearts of your listeners or your students?

Or do you hesitate, doubtful of your abilities, worried that others are judging you?

Is it hard for you to trust yourself to share with others what you can create for yourself when you’re alone at home?

Does sharing your art with authentic self-expression scare you and make you hold back when you’re in front of others?

If so, it’s time to change all that!!

No matter what your skill level is – whether you’re a seasoned professional or a beginner amateur – you have something so unique and special inside of you that needs to be shared, for the upliftment of your own soul and those of others around you.
