Performance anxiety is a common response among musicians to the idea of doing something in front of other people – whether it’s a group of people or just one person – especially when you care a lot about the outcome. Even private music lessons can trigger an experience of performance anxiety.

In this post, I’m bringing together three articles with good tips from other disciplines: yoga, sports psychology, and public speaking. Don’t forget to check out my own longer article on performance anxiety for musicians – you can download it from the box in the right sidebar.
