Here’s Kay’s amazing story (see her picture below):

“I consider it to be a miracle that so many things fell into place to lead me back to my violin, then to hearing of the Alexander Technique in online violin groups, then hearing of Jennifer Roig-Francoli through an online interview with Jasmine Reese.

I’m recovering my skills after many years of not playing music, and recovering the hope of improvement and of being able to enjoy playing my violin again.

Learning Alexander Technique with Jennifer has given me practical tools and skills that I use throughout my days, not just when I practice my piano and violin.

It has relieved emotional and physical pain and tension. It has improved posture problems related to scoliosis that I had thought (and been told by medical professionals) were permanent. My stamina is even increasing! It has helped me embody my spiritual being. I’m very grateful.

Working with Jennifer has helped greatly with my left side tension issues and performance anxieties, as well as in learning that I can notice my physical responses to life and ideas and use that information constructively.

I trust that God gave me my love of music, both violin and piano. I’m thankful that He has used music in healing me and for the miraculous string of things that brought me back to violin after many years. I don’t know what the future holds for me with my music, but I trust that it is good for me. I receive the gift of knowing that God put my love of music in me for me to enjoy.”
